Let’s get Talking Sage 200 again!

It’s been a while! Lots to start posting about. We have had Sage 200c and there are lots of updates for add ons with changes to Credit Hound, the new Spindle Self Service Portal, Sicon Barcoding and Warehousing to name a few.

It’s busy, busy, busy at Smith Cooper System Partners but I am going to do my best to start posting again.

How are people getting on with Sage 200c?

My personal experience to date has been great and I love the installation as it is much quicker. The Send To Excel feature is a great addition too, saving the reformatting requirements of Export as CSV or Excel.

    1. For Suppliers it will be POP, Stock and PL. Note you can’t Archive/Purge POP history per supplier it must be up to a date and so captures all supplier orders in that period. Stock History also Date based but can filter by Item or Product Group.

  1. Tying to delete old suppler accounts, can’t get rid of old complete transactions, should be a delete button in Adjust Transactions > Delete Transactions, I don’t have one?

    1. To Delete transactions you will need the feature enabled against your role, in System Administration.
NB this will allow you to delete transactions even if they are not allocated and if this is the case balance issues will be caused so make sure this is not the case.
Delete Transactions will Archive them if the setting to archive is enabled. If so you would then need to Purge.
You would also need to consider history in Stock and POP if the supplier is associated.
In the latest version of Sage 200 it is possible to Hide accounts.
